After playing close to 70 gigs in 2008, including Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Amsterdam Dance Event & Cream @ Amnesia, Ibiza, Bobina was voted 28th in DJ Magazine’s 2008 Top 100 chart and in the process, the year’s highest new trance entry! Now, four months later, in February 2009, he kicks off his latest maneuvers with the third, massive installment of his compilation series, ‘Russia Goes Clubbing’!





Serving as the definitive guide to Dmitry ‘Bobina’ Almazov’s musical tastes and directions, RGC2009 is a whistle-stop tour of some of the very best electronic dance music on offer in the first part of this year. Moving through a wide span of trance’s sub-genres, it includes proggier and techier nuggets from the up-and-comers including Sied van Riel, Tyler Michaud, W&W and Matan Zohar (also represented in remix form under his Mat Zo guise). In and amongst the CDs numerous highlight the bigger names are also suitably represented, with Rank 1’s Trance Energy anthem ‘L.E.D.’, Super8 & Tab’s killer ‘Delusion’ and the Gareth Emery remix of Bobina’s own ‘Time and Tide’ all making their way into this mix! Those of a vocal-loving disposition aren’t going to be short-changed either with Mike Koglin ft Lalia 'Find Me', Aly & Fila’s rewiring of Sunlounger feat. Zara’s ‘Lost With Out You’ and an exclusive remix from First State on Dmitry & Tiff Lacey's 'Where Did You Go?' all coming into play.
